I had liposuction on my upper thighs and buttocks over 3 years ago. Although I've always had a healthy BMI, the women in my family are all blessed with those attractive saddlebags at the top of our outer thighs, to the side of our butts and my procedure completely removed them. The doctor did my butt, outer and inner thighs and my legs look fabulous. However it does not remove cellulite, if you're blessed with that, so don't have any hopes there.
I was advised to wait to have my abdomen done until after I was finished having babies, which I now have, so I can't wait to get my tummy done.
When I put on weight with my pregnancy after liposuction the results remained, I just gained weight in other areas. So you do have to be careful if you gain weight, as you are going to gain it somewhere else. The pain isn't that bad (especially if you've had a baby - nothing compared to that) and I had my procedure done on Friday and could do all my usual chores (lifting kids, walking etc.) by Monday.
Totally worth it - do it young and enjoy the results!
