What can I do about sagging facial skin?

Face lift
The important aspects are the quality of your skin, the amount of sagging due to skin, the amount of sagging due to soft tissue descent and the position of the sagging. These questions will determine whether surgical or non surgical interventions can help. Traditionally sagging around the jowl area is difficult to treat other than by surgical intervention. If it is just jowl sagging without skin looseness/sagging then a minimal access incision facelift (ie MACS) can be used. Where there is excess skin especially in the neck then a minimal access incision facelift may not be possible and an incision that extends behind the ear will probably be required. It is important to consult with someone experienced in the various forms of surgical and non-surgical interventions.
Facelift
The gold-standard for sagging facial skin is a facelift. Without seeing pictures and/or examining you, it is hard to say with certainty. However, if you have loose sagging skin, then you need a facelift. Other products and treatments are available. However, these work best for mild wrinkles and skin texture. Facelift is a generic term and there are many procedures which fall under this category. You will need to see a surgeon in consultation for a complete examination and he or she will be able to individualize the surgery for what you need.
