SmartLipo costs vary by region and combinations. . .

SmartLipo costs are typically more than for traditional liposuction because we follow each case with aspiration of the contents. If suction is not used, it can cost less. I would say that, on average, SmartLipo costs 25% to 30% more than traditional liposuction on the same area.

HOWEVER, DON'T PURCHASE SMARTLIPO FROM A PROVIDER BECAUSE THEY OFFER IT AT THE LOWEST PRICE! There may be a good reason why they are so cheap. . . need I say more?

A good SmartLipo surgeon will have done a lot of procedures, have documented success, great before & after photos and predictable outcomes. They will take the time to perform the procedure and thorough suctioning.

Costs of SmartLipo

Smartlipo costs vary from office to office, depending on the experience of the surgeon, the credentials of the surgeon, and the facility the procedure is performed in.

For example, at our facility I am a plastic surgeon, have done over 2000 liposuction cases (Smartlipo MPX has only arrived in the last month, so we have done a dozen cases), and we perform Smartlipo under local anesthesia in a AAAHC accredited facility. Our charge for SmartLipo is $4000 for the first area and $1000 for every area after that.

Remember that SmartLipo is for people who are AT or CLOSE to their ideal body weight. If not, you may be a better candidate for ultrasonic luposuction.

Not SmartLipo

While SmartLipo is effective for certain isolated areas, it is not designed for more significant liposuction such as for thighs and butt. For these areas, you may not be getting a cost effective solution if you opt for SmartLipo.

If you are otherwise in good health and below 200 pounds, you may be a good candidate for traditional liposuction.

SmartLipo Costs Are Reasonable

SmartLipo is done as a single treatment so it is paid for "at once". However, many finance companies make this affordable.

We use companies such as Care Credit, Unicorn Financial (Chase) and others. 0% interest payments can be arranged over a year or extended payment plans can be chosen to fit most budgets.

Typical fees range from $1500 to $6500 depending on the body part being treated.

We offer fee consultations in person or virtually with photos.

Customized quotes and travel arrangement assistance can be arranged through our office. Since we treat patients from everywhere, we make receiving SmartLipo as "painless" as possible.

I'm sure this is fairly typical of many other practices like ours.

SmartLipo Costs...

At Houston Weight Loss and Lipo Centers in Houston, Texas, SmartLipo costs $4000 for the first area and $2000 for each additional area. Chins are an exception and are $3000 when done alone.

Common areas:

  • Lower abdomen
  • Upper abdomen
  • Flanks/love handles
  • Mid-back
  • Upper back
  • Hips
  • Lateral thighs
  • Inner thighs
  • Knees
  • Buttocks
  • Chin

Note that a full abdomen is 2 areas (upper and lower)

We currently give a 10% discount for 3 or more areas in patients with BMIs < 26

Pricing example:
lower abd + upper abd = 4000 + 2000 = 6000 full abds + love handles = 6000 + 2000 = 8000(-10%) = 7200

We give price quotes for out-of-town patients with submission of photos. Financing is available through Care Credit and Capital One.

SmartLipo cost

Most clients will typically only need one Smartlipo procedure. Many different facilities may offer financing with no interest plans.

Healing Waters Medical Spa offers 12 months no interest financing through CareCredit which makes it so much more affordable to get started right away than having to save up for the procedure.

Typically the starting cost for Smartlipo with suction is $4,500 – $5,000 in the Kansas area, but your candidacy and cost for Smartlipo is best determined with a face-to-face consultation.
