SMART LIPO can be done on calves and ankles, however expect a little more swelling than usual because of gravity. It is important to note here that you should only have a plastic surgeon do this as it requires a high level of expertise and a lot of experience in tradional liposuction. This is the only instance where we ask patients to wear a garment for at least a couple of weeks in order to minimize sweling.
